Within the framework of the Continuous Exploration Department’s keenness and interest to engage in on-site programs to train and develop new and second-grade employees in the department by highly experienced and efficient employees, three training courses are being held in the Waha field in coordination with both of the Development & Training Dept. & and Operations Dept. as follows:
1. Geological operations.
2. Applications of electrical compasses in drilling oil wells.
3. The stratigraphic and sedimentary characteristics of limestone and sandy reservoirs.
These courses aimed the number of (21) geologists of wells sites, especially those close to the company’s oil field sites. Mr. Khaled Al-Lafi, the supervisor of this program, informed us that the aim of these courses is to train, qualify, raise the efficiency, and develop the capabilities of the national employee and transfer experience to the second grade of the new generation to carry out the work assigned to them with skill and proficiency.
It is worth noting that this program has started since 22nd May 2022 and will continue until mid-November 2022.
